This might be getting a little out of control, but here we go! Here’s a new blog post with an update about my personal life and what’s been changing, especially with my social media platforms lately.
Since my last post, not much has changed in terms of work. I’m still in the same job, and I absolutely love it 🥰. To the amazing people at Significo – all the teams, and especially my Primary team – thank you for welcoming me like one of your own. Honestly, I’m blown away by how no two days are ever the same here. Even when faced with repetitive questions or challenges, they don’t slow me down; instead, they push me to work harder and improve. In these four months (almost five now!) of working here, I’ve learned so much about handling customer complaints, dealing with tougher clients than I’ve ever encountered before, and stepping up in tricky situations to truly help people. Hearing someone say, “Thank you so much, you’ve helped me more than anyone else,” makes it all worthwhile.
Speaking of personal life and work-life balance: lately, I’ve been working on a website for friends that will hopefully soon be added to the Projects section of my site. At first glance, it seemed hard to build, but once you dive into the “meat and potatoes” of it, you realize – hey, it’s not as complicated as it looked! More details will come once the website is complete. I’m hoping to finish the majority of it soon, though there will always be small tweaks here and there (trust me on that 😉). With over 13 years of experience in web design and development/administration under my belt, I can confidently say that even now I’m exploring not just tool documentation but also Generative AI to make sure everything works exactly how my friends or clients want.
Now onto something a bit tougher for me to write about – but it’s time. This decision has been brewing for a while; it wasn’t something I came up with overnight. As of March 16th, 2025, I’ve officially rebranded all my social media platforms. This includes my Facebook page, Instagram brand profile, and my good old Twitter (yes, it’s still Twitter to me – sorry Elon Musk, but I’m not calling it X 💪). Some accounts, like Facebook and Instagram, were deleted and started fresh from scratch. On others, I finally managed to secure a universally consistent username (a variation of this website domain). No more messy usernames where one platform has “Ž” and another doesn’t – everything is now streamlined!
It hasn’t been easy though. I’m still coming across remnants of old accounts and either renaming them (if possible) or creating new profiles altogether. For platforms like Twitter where I could update links, I’ve removed all old posts except for an announcement about my new Facebook and Instagram pages. Other platforms are still being cleaned up as I work on posting consistent content across all of them.
There is one exception: LinkedIn. Since it’s a professional network, I’ve only updated my public URL and other publicly visible details there.
As for verification badges – for now, I’m stepping away from Verified programs across all platforms. If any profiles still show a badge (or Premium status), they’ll be removed soon. My plan is to rebuild from scratch until my following reaches a level that feels right to me. Once that happens, I’ll consider reapplying for those badges.
I think that’s everything for now! All updated links are available on the Contact page of this site. The next step is updating YouTube video descriptions with the new social links – but that’ll be easy since I’ve already set up a custom Linktree URL with all the current platforms. Whenever something changes, that Linktree will be updated too 😄.
