Late Q2 / Early Q3 2025: Web, Social & Personal Updates

Yeah, I know it’s still Q2 as I’m writing this, but by the time this post goes live at the end of June, we’ll be firmly into Q3—so here we go, as Fabrizio Romano might say when a football transfer is officially confirmed.

The website’s design hasn’t changed—why mess with a good thing? Behind the scenes, though, I’ve rolled out backend improvements to keep everything running smoothly and flawlessly. I’ve also fine-tuned colors, contrast ratios, and markup to ensure full WCAG compliance, because accessibility remains a non-negotiable priority.

In my portfolio, you’ll now find the project I teased last time. It took a little longer than planned, but it’s nearly complete: main-page designs are finalized and SEO optimization is in place. Meanwhile, I’m working on a personal “pet-peeve” showcase for older work. That page is still a work in progress, but I’m targeting an early-July launch—think laid-back summer vibes with a healthy dose of Balkan Dad energy. “Živjeli!”

The blog has shifted toward more technical deep dives. A few drafts veered off course as I explored AI and LLM models—curse and bless you, AI!—but I expect to polish and publish them soon. Back in December 2024 I committed to restoring older posts; some have already returned, and I’ll keep evaluating which classics deserve a comeback.

On social media, almost every platform now shares a unified username (or a close variant). The one exception is Facebook: I tried to switch to “idzanhr,” clicked the wrong button, and couldn’t revert, so it remains its own island. LinkedIn stays dedicated to professional updates and industry insights, while Facebook, Twitter (still “Twitter,” not “X” for me, sorry, not sorry Elon & co.), and Instagram get a more casual tone—parish event highlights, my favorite Croatian singer’s new album, and everyday moments. I aim for a few posts each week on most channels, with LinkedIn seeing a lighter schedule of a few updates per month.

My role at Significo continues to be rewarding. In June, I tackled two major Customer Support projects almost single-handedly, which nearly knocked me off my feet—but I emerged with fresh skills and a deeper understanding of cross-team collaboration. Huge thanks to my teammates for their constant reassurance: “Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.”

Until the next blog post—which could cover anything from an Android user’s take on iOS 26 to who knows what, that AI/LLM comparison which is so long in my tooth to be released—rest assured this site is very much alive and kicking. 😉
